Biography

 

Jane Barry, Worcestershire, BSMT member since 2005

Jane retired from the NHS in 2017 and her post as Director of Operations for Coventry and Warwickshire Pathology Services which provides a full range of pathology to three Trusts in the Midlands. Her roots however are very much in Microbiology. After becoming state registered in 1978, she worked in a number of Microbiology laboratories around the country before accepting the last Laboratory Manager appointment in the PHLS in 2003 in Coventry. She was Hon Secretary to the BSMT committee from 2006 until 2013.

Jane worked part time in retirement for Coventry and Warwickshire Pathology Services.
